Overview of Mirridong Services

Mirridong Services was established in 1966 and is based in Yarram.  Services are provided for eligible individuals from the surrounding areas of Foster, Carrajung and Woodside in South East Gippsland Victoria, encompassing the areas within the Wellington and the South Gippsland Shires.

Mirridong Services provides a diverse range of quality disability support, learning and community options which are based on best practice. Our support and choice options and Disability Enterprise business provides integrated and innovative services and programs which respond to the needs of each individual.

Range of Services

Mirridong Services provides a range of services for eligible adults including: Community and social participation; Recreational activities; Community development; Shared supported accommodation; and Individualised support and advocacy services. We have a number of community partnerships which enhance the opportunities for our clients.

Housing

Mirridong Services Supported Independent Living offers living choices in various locations in the township of Yarram and has been operating since 1979.

Charity and Accreditation

Mirridong Services is both a not-for-profit origanisation and a registered charity. These statuses allow us to continue our mission of providing opportunities for adults with a disability to make choices, achieve goals and gain independence.

Mirridong Services is quality accredited to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
